I am Aurora Noctua, I am a Kentucky native and local Louisville artist, writer, and designer. I already gave you the business spiel, so here is just a little about me.
​
Do you know what happens when you live in a place your partner owns for the first time? No? Well, I got excited and now in addition to our existing three cats we have a dog, a snake, a gecko, and a pet rat. What a full house. If I'm not taking care of our scaly and fury little ones I am working on commissions and shows or studying for my Psychology Master's program I intend on starting in May of 2025.

I have been creating content and art my entire life, but I would place churning anything good out at the 2014 mark. My favorite medium is traditional pen and ink coupled with mixed media techniques. Personally I feel that using a modern pen to just not have the right amount of precision or depth in a lot of cases, although I still use those too. I will pretty much throw anything that looks good at a canvas. Don't get me wrong, I love all the other work I do too but there is just something meditative and satisfying about a physical piece of paper and a lot of messy inks and paints.

When I have the time, my hobbies are martial arts, video games, biking, hiking, writing, playing violin and running the occasional Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I am especially fond of the tag line for my last game, it was: "Welcome to Mir, a land of gods, magic, and trees that hate you". Oh boy did my players find out just how much trees hated them. Good times.
